An Achievement to Be Proud Of |
The Applied College at the University of Jeddah congratulates its students, members of the “Nabd Al-Ard” volunteer team, on being honored for achieving first place in the 2026 Namaa Al-Makkiyah Summer Program, in recognition of their innovative solutions addressing environmental challenges.
The team included students Rana Al-Zahrani, from the Intermediate Diploma in Recycling Fundamentals and Environmental Conservation, and Aseel Afqi, Yara Sayadi, Fajr Al-Shehri, and Renad Al-Shamrani, from the Intermediate Diploma in Environmental Protection Technology, under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Widad Al-Bishri and Prof. Dr. Nawal Helmy.
The team was honored by Eng. Hani Al-Maimouni, Assistant Director General for Support and Empowerment at the Ministry of Environment, Water and Agriculture branch in the Makkah Region.
An achievement we are proud of, and we congratulate our students on this outstanding accomplishment. We look forward to more successes that reflect the impact of applied education in creating innovative and sustainable solutions.
